Have you ever felt like striving for joyful movement seems impossible? Joyful movement can have a lot of pressure when you’ve come from a place of hating exercise for such a long time. The conversation today explores how we can ditch that all or nothing, black and white mindset that comes with exercise, and how to navigate that grey area between hating exercise and loving it, between diet culture and anti-diet culture, to finding neutrality with movement recognizing that not all exercise is going to be comfortable or easy.

Stef Bender is a certified Personal Trainer with a passion for power lifting, intuitive eating and body image coaching. After hitting rock bottom in 2020 with her physical and mental health, Stefanie found intuitive eating and health at every size. From that emerged a completely new way of life and a new way of coaching clients. Stefanie now guides others on their own intuitive eating journeys, building a healthier relationship with food, mind and body.

Kim Hagel is a certified Personal Trainer, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, mom of four and founder of Radiant Vitality Wellness In Goderich Ontario. Kim hosts The Joyful Movement Show podcast and through her signature program “Discover Joyful Movement”, she helps women who feel unmotivated to discover what moves them through intuitive movement, eating and mindset coaching so they can heal their relationship to exercise and feel confident in their now body.

Vanessa Preston is a Mental Health Social Worker and Nutritionist with over 14 years of assessment and therapeutic experience. She specializes in working with people who have experienced trauma and complex trauma. She also provides group programs for women around self-compassion, shame resiliency, body image and intuitive eating.
